About Coast Parents

It seems the best place to chat with other parents is the playground and that's where the idea for Coastparents.ca was conceived! After many hours discussing the best place to buy children’s items, what activities were available, what family events were taking place or what kinds of support and services were out there we realized there was a need for a “one stop shop” for parents on the Coast to go to find information on everything child and family related taking place in our community.

So after many “meetings” aka play dates and many lattes, we developed Coastparents.ca. We want to keep you up to date on all that is happening in your community, provide expert advice from local resources, information on cool new kid products and to provide a forum where parents can come together to discuss everything from breast feeding woes to the best play ground on the Coast.

Our goal is simple, to provide parents on the Sunshine Coast with up to date information on community events and activities and information on local support and services available for the children 0-5 and their families.
