African Dance Class! March 8, 9, 10, 12

To all former African dance students and those of you new to African dance, Jean-Pierre Makosso will be teaching an African Dance class to 5 – 12 year olds during the Spring Break. March 8, 9, 10, 12    12:30 PM - 1:30 PM, Arts Building – Lower Gibsons, 464 South Fletcher www.artsbuilding.org Description: A four day class of intense music and dancing for kids.  $40 for 4 sessions. Spring Break Craft Spree at Gibsons Library! March 12th                                 Don't let Spring Break slip by uneventfully! Come to the Gibsons Library for our three-day Spring Break Spree!  Get out of the house and get your imagination whirring as we spend three days creating marvelous creatures using recycling and papiér mâché. On Wednesday we design and build, on Thursday we paint, and on Friday we decorate with finishing details like feathers, googley eyes and beads.  We'll begin the hour with an inspiring story, and spend the rest of the time creating.  At the end of three days, you'll come away with your own fantastic creature?make it big, scary, silly?the mind's the limit!

Please register for this FREE three-day Spring Break event geared to kids ages 5-10, held at the Gibsons and District Public Library from Wednesday, March 10th to Friday, March 12th from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.  Register either in person at the library, or by phone, 886-2130.

Spiritual Parenting and Partnerships Workshop - Saturday, March 20

Explores the varied ways we play these roles & helps us look at ways to better play our parts, for harmony within ourselves, our relationships & the world.  This workshop is for anyone looking to enhance their partnerships or who cares for children, whether a parent, grandparent, aunt/uncle, or professionals such as teachers, nurses, social workers, counsellors. Saturday, March 20, 10 – 5 PM Location:  Self Realization Meditation Healing Centre    8904 Armstrong Way, Halfmoon Bay Fee:  $80 (includes lunch)  (all fees go back to support the Centre’s not for profit work) Instructor:  Hànanda Whittingham, International Teacher from the UK

Pure Meditation  (course Mon-Fri) March 7 – 13 
A beautiful down to earth, practical teaching for the present brought to you by Mata Yogananda, & taught by her direct disciples from the UK.  This in-depth course involves learning, developing & practicing the Raja & Kriya Yoga, including energy care tools & spiritual   knowledge that will transform your life & bring you more peace, love, joy & wisdom.   This is a 5 day course with full board or partial as a day student. Animal Healing - Saturday& Sunday March 20/21
This weekend course is for those who wish to learn how to give Natural Spiritual Healing to animals. Working with love & respect for all animals, learn how to help enhance the animals’ quality of life & to stimulate their body’s own healing mechanism. KinderSPARK! 2010 - ATTENTION! ALL PARENTS OF CHILDREN ENTERING KINDERGARTEN IN THE FALL OF 2010 - Programs are free to parents & caregivers, through the support of your local Community Schools and School District No. 46 (Sunshine Coast).
